I’ve been building software for over a decade. I focus on human-centered products that prioritize both user and developer experience. I’m also a teacher, and hopefully someday a mentor — sharing knowledge is a core part of my work.

Lately I started focusing on AI-powered application especially how we can leverage generative AI to enhance user experience and productivity.

When I’m not coding, you can find me at a local tea room, taking care of my pets (3 cats and 2 rabbits) or just creating stuff with my 3d printer and some electronics.

    Context: Adéo created a Center of Excellence for Software Engineering to help teams adopt AI and improve developer experience across products and internal tools. I’m part of the team that designs frameworks, patterns and starter templates to safely integrate generative AI in the company’s ecosystem.

    Key responsibilities (ongoing):

    • Designing and building an internal MCP (Model Context Protocol) framework in TypeScript to improve developer DX and ensure secure integrations with company systems.
    • Creating boilerplates and integration adapters for the company design system to make AI-powered components and features easy to adopt across teams.
    • Investigating GitHub Copilot and related developer tools to define recommended workflows and security guidelines for prompt usage and secrets handling.
    • Prototyping connectors between the mark and public chat models, exploring usage patterns for MCP-UI / MCP-apps.
    • Mentoring and advising engineering teams and staff engineers on multi-agent architectures and best practices (using tools such as ADK for agent design).

    Learnings & investigations:

    • Spec-driven design with tools like BMAD and SpecKit.
    • Deployment and orchestration research for ADK agents (Google Cloud Agent Engine proof-of-concept).

    Notes: This role is recent and many initiatives are currently in progress; the entry focuses on scope, responsibilities and early prototypes rather than finished deliveries. I’ll update this post with concrete outcomes and metrics as projects reach production or wider adoption.

  • Fullstack Developer @ Leroy Merlin

    Feb 2024 - Sep 2024

    Context: Leroy Merlin builds configurators for highly customizable products (custom garage doors, window dimensioning, etc.) to compute prices and generate quotes when items cannot be stocked. I joined as a Sfeir consultant to design, refactor and industrialize these services.

    • Reworked and refactored a REST API in Java 21 / Spring Boot, applying Hexagonal / Clean Architecture patterns to improve maintainability and team productivity.
    • Built a Fullstack MVP from scratch for the window-dimensioning feature (Java backend, Vue 3 frontend).
    • Explored GenAI use-cases and prototyped an AI agent (Vercel AI SDK) connected to the platform to assist users in generating custom configurations.
    • Implemented a supplier data ingestion tool to feed configurators and stabilise data flows.
    • Promoted BDD practices: wrote business scenarios and automated tests with Cucumber.
    • Regular pair & mob programming; coached junior developers on hexagonal architecture and tools like Feign, JPA and TanStack Query.
    • Integrated UI with Adeo “Mozaïc” Design System: collaborated with designers, prototyped UX and developed Vue components.
    • Automated CI/CD with GitHub Actions and implemented production monitoring with Datadog (logs, APM) to improve resilience and observability.
    • Added end-to-end non-regression tests using Playwright for critical user journeys.

    Context: Fashion Data recently joined Valiuz. To harmonize architecture, features and security between the two entities, modifications were required on Fashion Data applications to establish a reliable integration bridge.

    • Redesigned and refactored the orchestration layer around data pipeline automation to improve reliability and observability for critical fashion industry datasets.
    • Implemented infrastructure-as-code using Terraform to provision and manage cloud resources across environments.
    • Built CI/CD automation with GitHub Actions to deploy applications and cloud infrastructure consistently and safely.
    • Extended and added features to a cloud-native serverless application on GCP (Go, Python), focusing on scalability and operational efficiency.
    • Integrated monitoring and alerting to ensure production readiness and enable faster incident response.

  • Fullstack Developer / Ops @ Davidson SI Nord

    Aug 2022 - Jan 2024

    Context: Davidson SI Nord’s Dav’Lab (service center) aimed to scale up its capabilities to deliver internal client projects with strong quality standards and team development.

    • Acted as technical referent on agile development projects, conducting application and cloud architecture audits, and promoting BDD practices across teams.
    • Coached development teams through hands-on workshops and talks on development and DevOps topics; set up training programs on Next.js, Firebase, NX, and modern testing practices.
    • Animated the internal developer community with private meetups and tech watch sharing; provided technical support for teams working with Spring Boot, NestJS, React, Next.js, Angular, and Firebase.
    • Automated team workflows with GitHub Actions and Terraform to improve delivery speed and consistency.
    • Refactored a REST API in Java for Kéolis (metro rail wear tracking), applying Clean Architecture principles, integrating SonarCloud and JUnit5 unit tests, and containerizing deployment with Docker.
    • Built a Discord bot for managing internal communities with code quality enforced by SonarCloud.
    • Delivered a website for Les Blongios association: led the team in adopting Next.js and Firebase, worked in Scrum, and implemented end-to-end tests with Cypress.
    • Created a time-tracking application in Java synchronized with internal Notion workspace, tested with Cucumber + JUnit5 and monitored with SonarCloud.
